One and a Half Years After Launch, The Chinese Neverwinter Server is Being Shuttered

The Chinese Neverwinter PC server is being closed after just under a year and a half of service. The announcement, issued by Perfect World China and translated by MMO Culture, revealed that players on that particular server will have until May 19, 2017 before they can no longer log in.

Interestingly, this closure has no impact on the console versions of the game in China — meaning the game is probably doing much better on those systems. The English global server will also remain open.
