Raziel was once a mighty angelic warrior. During an incursion into enemy territory, he was captured and taken to the deepest pits of hell where he was subjugated to demonic energy and slowly transformed into a fallen angel. Horrified at what Raziel had become, the angels sent a great force to end his sufferingl. The angels managed to subdue Raziel and seal him within his demonic wings. However, the seal requires a powerful host to keep Raziel's power under control and only the strongest mages can wield his wings.
