Everybody go crazy! There’s a new adventure for Call of Cthulhu up on Kickstarter! Ok, maybe don’t go crazy, literally. That would inhibit your playing ability. Though, being Call of Cthulhu, it’s highly likely that your character will go crazy. That’s just sort of par for the course.
Sun Spots is a new scenario set in New England during the Roaring 20s. The whole scenario is around 28k words, giving 3-6 players around 8-10 hours worth of play. And, obviously, you don’t want to give away too many details in your campaign, otherwise, players will know what all is going on ahead of time. As such, you just kinda gotta take this one on pedigree. The original scenario was written with the help of Keith “Doc” Herber, long-time writer and editor for Call of Cthulhu. Unfortunately, it all got shelved with Doc’s unfortunate passing in 2009. But now it’s up on Kickstarter for you to check out.
The campaign has made it over it’s funding goal. So it’s on to stretch goals for the next 23 days.
