After a few months of consecutive delays, Netmarble finally announced that
Unreal Engine 4 mobile RPG Lineage II: Revolution will be available to download
and go live for both App Store and Google Play on December 14th.
Lineage II is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for
Microsoft Windows, the second game in the Lineage series. It is a prequel to
Lineage, and is set 150 years before the earlier game. It has become very
popular since its October 1, 2003 launch in South Korea, reporting 1,000,918
unique users during the month of March 2007. To date, the game has been played
by more than 14 million users, mostly based in Asia.
This new mobile game’s most touted feature is the “Castle Siege” -- an
integral element of the original “Lineage II” -- which can at once accommodate
up to 1,600 players engaged in multiplayer battles to win over a clan’s castle.
Based on the popular NCsoft IP, players will be able to experience online PVE
raids and large-scale PVP with gorgeous next-gen graphics and an epic
storyline.
