After 18 months of Early Access development LEGO Worlds is scheduled to
launch through Steam and on console in February, 2017. The game is like a LEGO
playset, without the unforgiving pain of stepping on a brick.
I had a chance to play LEGO Worlds back when it first launched into Early
Access, and created some masterful works of art to make Van Gogh cry, as you
can see in the banner above.
So what does leaving Early Access mean to you, us and everyone else then?
Ironically, from our perspective, it doesn’t really change all that much in
terms of our planning ahead. We have a wall of ideas that we still want to add.
But having been in Early Access for over 18 months, we feel it’s the right
time. If you’ve been keeping tabs on us through our latest community video, you
know the team has been hard at work behind the scenes with some fantastic game
updates and we have some amazing things planned for February launch. -Steam

There's no exact release date just yet, but February is a better timetable
than "soon."
If you have kids and hate picking up their mess of LEGOs then LEGO Worlds
is probably worth checking out. Or if you're an adult with a lingering spur of
creativity ready to show off that Millennium Falcon design locked in the back
of your mind for the past 10 years, it's also worth checking out.
