OK, that’s not exactly stunning news in the world of game development, but it’s still nice to see it spelled out. In a blog post on the Dauntless site, you can read about placeholder assets, transparency, and how the devs might tell you about large plans but not be able to give too many details immediately.
To veteran gamers, none of it is earthshattering, but new people are entering the genre every day, like this guy. Better to put it in writing now than risk people getting mad about “promised” features later. Which they totally won’t, now that this disclaimer is out there, right?
